From rafting to fishing, and swimming to walking the rocks, the entire family can find something fun to do. The trails are created for hikers who enjoy the long trips and short trips as well. Many find hidden secrets while on their journey into the wooded paths of these mountains. Along with the animal and plant life, hikers can find water falls from .4 of a mile to eight miles round trip. The only waterfalls visible from the road is Meigs Falls which is located 12.9 miles West of the Sugarlands Visitor Center.
