The One Face of Love
Love has many definitions. Love has many faces. However, there's only one that rises above all the rest. The real source or origin of love comes from God. He gives us so much love. Just look around, He is everywhere. God shows so much of Himself to us.
In John 3:16 it states; For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. God's love is so big toward all creatures that he gave us his only Son. This was a sacrifice that God himself made. He saw our needs first. He gave the best of himself. God loves us unconditionally. His love is called agape love. It is a love that does not think of oneself, but sacrifices for the sake of another. Jesus showed this kind of love, agape love, when he died on the cross for us.
