Everything Must Go

De-clutter, de-clutter, de-clutter! Sometimes this is something we all must do. When facing a mess, the feeling of being overwhelmed and frustrated is not pleasant.

Let me remind you, we all have our own forest of stuff, stuff, stuff. There comes a time when de-cluttering is a must. If you de-clutter improperly, it can make matters worse. There’s nothing harder than trying to weed out the forest with a dull axe. And if you really want the job to seem impossible, get right in the middle of the forest (your mess) and start to work. Talk about seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! The very thing you are trying to get rid of will try to overtake you.

Sometimes life is like an overstuffed closet. You can’t find a thing for all the things.

The Word of God reminds us that the cares of the world (these things) will rob us of the very joy we desire. Stuff is not worth it. Don’t let things control you. You take charge.
